. Got as far as Airlie Beach on our trip Nth.
Left on Saturday and arrived back home today.
Very glad we made that decision as Airlie is now in the firing line.
Couldnt believe the amount of vans heading Nth.
Hope we don't have a bad storm or the like down here because,
there was an Armada of Energex and Ergon trucks heading Nth

Don't Worry Be Happy
Glad you left when you did. Won't be very pleasant up there right now.
Cheers,
Sheba.
I was in Burrum Heads after ex Tropical Cyclone Yasi came down the coast. Expected heavy rain but it had a Tornado that hit Burrum Heads at 3:30 am.
The Caravan park was badly hit. It looked like those pictures from Tornado Alley in the USA when it hits trailer Parks. Lucky no-one was killed.
Just hope that everyone affected by Cyclone Debbie will be safe.

No problems with the new van apart from a minor leak in the front window.
Problem with the car though, got that fixed yesterday
