Just came back from 10 nights at Koala Shores CP at Lemon Tree Passage where we used a travel auction voucher that I had bought from a nice lady on this site who was unable to use it. Everyone we spoke to up there seemed to using these vouchers as well but most of them to stay for for 5 nights when heading further north and then for 5 nights when coming back south again. Seemed like pretty good value to us at around $20 a night for a powered site although you are restricted when you can use them i.e. has to be outside of holiday periods. They run a courtesy bus from both the bowling club and the RSL every hour for a gold coin donation so heading off for a meal and a beer is no problem, the CP also builds a fire around 4pm every day with enough wood to last a few hours for those who want sit around and socialise. Other than the frustration caused by playing a couple of rounds of golf it was a very relaxing 2 weeks and although we weren't lucky enough you might actually spot a koala or 2 if you take the 2.7km walk through the bush into town.
Have used them, usually around half normal price of site. Once you buy one though, you get a never ending stream of emails from the company trying to sell you more.
Cheers, John.
