I got a Golden Shower for Australia Day

Happy Australia day to everyone. Well most everyone.

I cooked the family a good old Aussie lunch with Rosemary & mint butterfly lamb roast veg with the baked spuds pumkin carrots whole onions, with corn cob and peas.

A few drinks later, it was time to take an afternoon nap with me mate on the back lounge. She climbed aboard and we both nodded off together.

my mobile rang in my top pocket, It was our daughter locked out. Her key would not open the front door.

Get off I said too the old girl, I have to open the front door. So she reluctantly dismounted and I made my way to the front of the house.

Hi dad, Hi Kath. What you been up to then, looking down at my King Gee shorts.

Eh whats this then,a wet patch in the middle of my duds.

Bloo...dy Jack Russel has done it again. Leeked in her sleep while asleep on my lap. Thats it no more.

She's nelly 14 years young.

I suppose we will all end up the same one day.

You have to love your dog.hmm

Get out side you bad girl.biggrin

Jim

laughing.giflaughing.gif You'll miss her when she's not around anymore.

We had to have our girl put down in March last year. We miss her so much.

There will be a few others enjoying a golden shower today celebrating the year of SS marriage ahead, but we won't go into that one will we. biggrinbiggrin

Rosemary is a member of the Lamiaceae Family / Meditenranean, came from around the corner at Woolworths as packaged deal, with a touch of Mint.

Tasted so good, I went back for secondswink. Might try the special Curried Lamb next time. Shaw to light up the party.smile

Now you know the Hole story of Rosemary.biggrin

Good one.  I got a great laugh.

I had a disaster.  After doing my usual lamb loin chops with garlic & rosemary and heaps of booze for the family, I showed the grandson how to do an orange damper in a dutch oven.

Bloody heat beads (like me) too old & didn't get hot enough ...  finished it off in the oven.  Like a rock on the outside & doughy in the centre.  Grandson went back to his iPad!! my reputation in tatters.

I found the reference to Golden Shower offensive as it tends to a Pornographic Nature and particularly on Australia Day, given the previous delicate natures of posts concerning Happy Australia Day, I would like this entire post deleted! If the moderator has a sense of duty, this post should either be closed or deleted!

A golden shower is slang for the practice of urinating on another person for sexual pleasure, as part of urolagnia.

Jest sayin' cry cry

Ya rite HunnyBunny .... it's all about perception.

Subject heading ... last seven lines of 13 lines .... yep - all about roast lamb on Stray Day wif family.

OH .. and an honest, unknowing, unfortunate language mistake.

cheers - John

You know Jim,

if you take your mate to the Vet. He can give you some medicine for her to stop this from happening.

Our 14 yr old boy is on Propalin for this very reason

Oh Dearie me,

Looks likes we have another stirrer within, yet again.

When one wants to Share a story about there little mate of 14 years with Epiletsy in their mutt. Our little Jack dose not know She has done What she has done, while asleep on my lap.

Its part of owning a pet for the long term. We know we will lose her one day. One who brings so much laughter within ones own family Plus.

Our daughter reads the stories on here, every Thursday to her entrusted Nursing Home patients. The eldest been 102 young.

Little miss pi...ss piddle go's in on the same day as a companion dog. She brings so much joy to the elderly along with the homes two pet rabbits.

They love all the stories/ topics with laughter and chuckles. Some are retired GN's with stories of their own. Some want to join our group and tell their own.

Lambie  has offered to set up as a separate member on here,(With Cindy's permission of cause.) sitting in with her Ipad at the ready, and tell of their individual adventures of crossing the Nullarbor etc, when it was just a dirt road.

Its a Sad day indeed when one take offence to the sharing of happenings in ones own family surrounds on Australia Day.

Why we even bother to contribute at all.nonono

 Hi Kaid,

Yes We know all about the medicines. We only found out when she was 5 After her first fit. I throught she had been posioned.

Ever since the vet balances her Phenomav 30mg twice a day along with half a Epibrom tablet.

She sill will get them every now and then. It has taken its toll on her. Regardless, she is part of our family.

Jim

we do what we can when we can to make their lives better.

Still, it really was a bit funny

 Hi Peter,

For many a free camp with a gold coin donation you will receive a golden shower of 3 minutes. Kimba in SA is one. Hebel in NSW is another. Quipie in QLD is yet another.

You need to pack up a hit the Road. What you did/ Do and practice in your own life is your business. Please don't apply your lifestyle to others on here Thankyou!

 Hi Terry,

Both Lambie and I, wish your wife a speedy recovery. Take it slow and give her as much time as she needs. There are many good times ahead for you both.Been there, done that.

As for the above. Will leave well alone.

Warm wishes

Jim & Lambie
