There is definitely room for some improvement.

It would be interesting to see a breakdown of figures if inspections were conducted with the same intensity on light vehicles and the drivers.

Blitz in 2006

Feb 2018

I reckon no matter what the blitz focuses on, the transgressions will be about the same - irrespective of vehicle type.

Not matter what the vehicle, or blitz, human nature seems to be to 'push the envelope'.

And while a blitz is ongoing in some place, the road a couple km away will be empty of enforcement.
Trouble with a blitz is that is concentrated.
