NORTHERN Territory Police have appealed for help in tracing a missing 67-year-old caravanner.
Alex Rosenberg was last seen on the Leliyn Track at Edith Falls campground on Sunday, August 19. His Elite caravan and tow vehicle were located at his campsite in "a neat and tidy condition", police said. It is known he completed a short walk on the Leliyn Track (Edith Falls Loop Track) to the top rock pools of Edith Falls the day before.
Mr Rosenberg spent part of early Saturday evening with other campers at a nearby site where he outlined his plan to walk to Swee****er Pool, about an 8km round trip, early the next morning. Extensive land and underwater searches have failed to locate Mr Rosenberg or any items he may have had with him at the time of his disappearance. He is described as being just under 6ft tall with fair complexion, grey hair and of lean to medium build.
It is believed he may have been wearing a khaki shirt, black/khaki hat, black shorts, and Salomon hiking boots. He also had a small black or blue day pack or Camelbak and a walking pole. It is believed he had a Samsung Edge mobile phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet in his possession.
Police requested that anyone who has seen any of the items or saw Mr Rosenberg on August 19 to contact them on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The search for missing tourist Alex Rosenberg, who was last seen at Edith Falls earlier this month, has been called off.
Police suspended the search and rescue operation following an 11-day operation to find the 67-year-old.
But Katherine detectives will continue to investigate the disappearance of Mr Rosenberg.
Superintendent Mark Malogorski said police, along with a large contingent of Parks and Wildlife staff and Northern Territory Emergency Services volunteers, searched a large area in difficult conditions.
The search conditions included high temperatures, harsh terrain and vast land and water areas, Supt Malogorski said.
Police have used extensive resources, including officers from the Territory Response Group and Water Police along with helicopter support, to search the area.
Despite our efforts, we have been unable to locate Mr Rosenberg.
The Queensland man was last seen at Edith Falls on Sunday, August 19.
