I know that I am not the brightest tool in the shed - a description attested to by many. However, I am not sure I understand what the sticker is trying to convey.
"If this sticker is blue you are going too fast" and it is a red sticker.
So, is the statement on the sticker to be read by the vehicle following me ... or for me to read while I am driving.
If it is for me, then I guess each time I look at the red sticker (on the dash?) and read the words, and the sticker has remained red, then I am not driving too fast?
And for the following vehicle, that catches up with my vehicle, sees and reads the sticker and the sticker remains red, then they are able to feel confident they are not speeding?
I must be missing something - not unusual for sure - but can anyone elucidate?
Cheers - John

It's about the change in light frequency as speed increases.
Google "red shift" or "blue shift".
I thought it was very clever :)
rockylizard, please do not feel alone with your puzzlement. I was totally wondering what the heck with the Red Blue bit as well. But thanks to Mike I am enlightened now. Have to say though I reckon it is more than clever it is down right super tech geeky

I slowly realise as I get older that I am definitely NOT the fastest rat in the race.
Also the older I get the more I realise I do not know.
