LLD it seems that there are plenty of "offspring" who manage to get into trouble regardless of either their parent's occupation or how priveleged their upbringing was. My interest is more around how these 2 people (if found guilty) are dealt with by the courts - hopefully they will be treated in the same way that anyone else who doesn't have friends in high places are.
Agree BB but sometimes people with a privileged background get treated different because their parents can prove they have support at home or parents can buy support in some sort of private clinic.
A kid I went to school was out of control. His dad was a local magistrate and he traded on that a lot. When picked up by local police for D & D or whatever, they'd just take him home. However he got locked up in NYE in Lorne ( a long way from home) and all he did was yell that his dad was a magistrate. When the police rang his dad and told him his son was in the lock-up, dad just said "leave the little bastard there"
