We went to the Kris Kristopher show in Toowoomba Friday night.

Very good performance from a bloke aged 83. He was backed by 3 blokes that played with the Merle Haggard band .

They were very good as well.

I saw him play with the Highway Men when they were in Australia back in the early eighties. He certainly looks and acts older

but is still a fantastic muso.

I would have loved to be there but unfortunately had other commitments.

Hi sandsmere. We were actually in Toowoomba that night and was a toss up to call the theatre to see if there were any spare tickets. In the end we decided against it. Still a bit sorry about it because he is a great talent. Sue has bought tickets to see Suzi Quattro at the same venue in November so we have a 7 hr drive to see one of my favourite singers. I cant wait. Regards Pete. Ps. My Suzi still looks great in leather pants so guess what she will be wearing!!! Lol

Hi sandsmere. Well we attended the Suzi Quatro concert at the empire theatre on Saturday night. Wow what a performance. Was a bit dubious about attending a concert by an older artist but she just nailed it. Well worth the 7 hour drive. It was the first time I have been in that theatre. Its an amazing place. Just thought I would let you know. Regards Pete
