There is Of Course also O'Reilly's in Lamington Park which is well worth the trip. Normally Accessed through Canungra.

If you are exploring the 'Lost World' area  there is a 4x4 track called Duck Creek Road that takes you up the escarpment to the O'Reilly's resort in the Lamington National Park

Not advised to take a Van. It is a real 4x4 track but well worth the trip. It was done in an old Mazda two wheel drive daily by a young Lady who worked at the resort but her Mazda only lasted two years Lol.

First time I did the trip I had my sister in law with us out from the UK. Got to the top, no GPS or Map so at the top where it joined the Canungra O'Reilly's road I turned Left. Duh!!!!  Took me down the Hill to Canungra.

It is well worth exploring the area.

 On one trip home from O'Rileys, I noticed the Duck Creek sign so I took the LH turn in my beaut GQ Patrol & down we went.

It was an interesting trip with at least one great stop (potential overnighter camp site) with a fantastic view.

The GQ with HT tyres (only very slightly deflated rears), did it with ease & not a very testing 4WD (4xHigh) trip.  Perhaps I was just lucky to strike the track in good condition & was going downhill.
