A follow up to the nine year old graduate thread


As most of us said such a life is not good for a child:

It seems very much as though he is a trophy for his parents to put on show and now the uni won't do what they want they have, in a tantrum, withdrawn him from uni.

I suspect this boy will grow up to be a very confused and probably damaged adult, poor little devil.

I feel for the child, it seems to me he won't have had a childhood, and all that is, in growing through the different stages of ages, possibly living the life the parents wanted for themselves.

It will be interesting to hear what he turns out like in another 10 years or so.

I now also feel for this child, after seeing the link that Mike has put up

I was the original poster, who dips my lid to him, and I still do

I can only hope that with his high IQ, as he gets older, he will be able to see/sort the chaff from the wheat

I actually had no idea that a parent, would push their child, for their own one one-upmanship
