I have posted an add for sale and want to update details. How do I edit this. Have tried the edit function but when I submit it reverts back to the original add.

I clicked on edit, made the changes then clicked on submit post (bottom right) and post was updated

You need Cindy, edit function ceases after a couple of days. PM her, she seems happy to help

On many forums you only have 15 - 30 minutes to edit a post, but there isn't any time limit on this forum.

Just checked an old post I made several months ago and the edit function is still available.
