Probably a silly question, but are you using the "Enter" button ?

I thought that I'd try Quick Reply at the foot of the page.


Here is the result for two paragraphs.

Edit .. Looks like it came out OK so that's not the problem. 

         Must be the way you're holding your mouth LOL

Edit 2.  Looks like that works too, not having changed it all  to a single big paragraph.

           What terminals are you guys using ...  Apple or Android Smart(ish) phones?

 Well there goes my theory.  I use Opera on a Win10 laptop with no problems.

I mostly use a Moto G5, G6 or G7, or sometimes my 2007 Mac OS 10.6.8

On the 3 phones use Kiwi browser, less ads! If I want to copy & paste some text, I paste it into the box at the top of the browser & then re-copy to get plain text & then paste into the text box, & then manually space text as required if needed in the reply text box.
