I believe the below copy and paste, tells a good news story
In my opinion, of reading the news
Some politicians are playing politics, and some are more concerned about world economy, than world health It does appear to me, that the world leaders are not pulling together
The WHO, has been saying that we should have a united world front, during this world pandemic It is now saying that when/if a vaccine is found, it must be available to everyone
The head of the World Health Organization has called for global solidarity in the development of a potential COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus said medical scientists are working at breakneck speed to develop any such vaccine. He says, once developed, equitable access to the vaccine is essential.
"Researchers are working at breakneck speed both to understand the virus and also to develop potential vaccines, medicines, and other technologies.
"The access to COVID-19 is uniting efforts on many fronts to ensure we have safe, effective, and affordable therapeutics, and vaccines, in the shortest time possible.
"These tools provide additional hope of overcoming COVID-19, but they will not end the pandemic if we cannot ensure equitable access to them."

The BBC has reported that the Queen will award a knighthood to the 100-year-old British war veteran, Captain Tom Moore, who raised more than $60 million dollars for the UK's National Health Service
China has banned the consumption of wild animals in Wuhan
The central Chinese city of Wuhan, where the global coronavirus pandemic is believed to have originated, has issued a total ban on the hunting, breeding and human consumption of wild animals.
I believe that, the below newspaper article, is a good news story
In summary, Singapore has manufactured, a Coronavirus contact tracing wearable device This is suitable for those (like me), who do not have a smart phone, or Bluetooth capability
Hopefully this device will filter down to other countries, as anything used to get on top of the Coronavirus, in my opinion, must be a good thing
Perhaps our leaders, could ask our boffins, to design such a device, and then manufacture about 20 million
It would have been a handy to thing to have had, a few weeks ago It just may have nipped the Victorian outbreak, in the bud
I put this up as good news, because it just may be a breakthrough, in finding a vaccine
A report in the Lancet Medical Journal shows promising results for a coronavirus vaccine produced by Oxford University.
The experimental vaccine, called AZD1222, was administered to 1,077 healthy adults aged 18-55 years with no history of COVID-19. It didn't prompt serious side effects and produced antibody and T-cell immune responses.
The drug company, AstraZeneca, is preparing to mass produce the vaccine, and the UK has already ordered 100 million doses.
AstraZeneca has also signed agreements with governments around the world to supply the vaccine should it prove effective and gain regulatory approval.
Head of the World Health Organization's emergencies program, Mike Ryan, said the results were good news.

A Covid-19 vaccine developed by the biotechnology company Moderna in partnership with the National Institutes of Health has been found to induce immune responses in all of the volunteers who received it in a Phase 1 study.
These early results, published in the New England Journal of Medicine on Tuesday, showed that the vaccine worked to trigger an immune response with mild side effects -- fatigue, chills, headache, muscle pain, pain at the injection site -- becoming the first US vaccine candidate to publish results in a peer-reviewed medical journal
The vaccine is expected to begin later this month a large Phase 3 trial -- the final trial stage before regulators consider whether to make the vaccine available.

There are so many organisations looking for a vaccine, it is sometimes hard to sort the chaff from the wheat

The race is on to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. There are now more than 140 vaccines being tested around the world, according to the World Health Organization.
I do recall reading very early on, when the WHO (World Health Organisation), recommended that all countries/organisations, share their vaccine progress
Alas it did not really go along that route, with some countries, now accusing others of spying for vaccine secrets
I feel sorry for the down-and-outs in that great bastion of capitalism, the USA, who have to fork over US$200 for their flu shots. Let's hope that Moderna doesn't screw the rest of the world if their COVID-19 vaccine turns out to be the saviour.

Very sadly, nearly 20,000 people in care homes in the UK, were affected by the Coronavirus
But one care home, which did not believe the UK health leaders advice, (when the coronavirus first came out) That it was "very unlikely" people in care could be infected, disregarded this advice, and locked down very early, and very hard They also refused, to take patients from hospitals, (hospital moved some patients to care homes to free up beds), unless that patient had been tested negative, for Coronavirus
They have (up to date 3-8-2020), had no Coronavirus
This is proof enough for me, that we can eradicate the Coronavirus, and not have to learn to live with it
Just on radio as well, they will pay casuals who are only on 12 hours a week. But, yesterday they reported record sales during the Virus period, so at least they can afford it.
Copy and paste "It's important that we just look, and test and interrogate the medical evidence and make decisions based on that and nothing else," Morrison said.
Interstate borders are again shut, and the federal government has withdrawn the pressure it had been placing on state premiers to allow the free flow of domestic travellers.
This to me is good news, in relation to helping the eradicating of Coronavirus from Australia My interpretation, but I could be wrong, is that the advice of the medical people, will finally be listened to, even if someone has to test and interrogate that medical evidence
A Doctor worked 56 hours straight, at Royal Melbourne ICU, and she received a parking ticket
State Premier became aware of it, through the media. He said this should not have happened, and will look into it
I believe that anything, which takes away, any type of stress from any health worker, is a good thing, as they are already working in a very stressful environment, for our benefit
I dips my lid to all health workers

The latest development, is that the council has waived the parking fine, and it is further good news, that the Doctor worked her 56 hours over 4 days, and not straight as was first reported, and further good news, that the council will provide 5,000 additional parking permits, for health workers

On Tuesday afternoon, Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp said Dr Arandjelovic's fine would be waived, and the council would provide 5,000 additional temporary parking permits to frontline workers.
I'm not sure what to make of this, especially after claims that Russian stole some experimental data (why weren't they given it, anyway?), and knowing that a despot like Putin wouldn't think twice about rolling out a premature vaccine for political purposes.
Russia registers COVID-19 vaccine, Putin says daughter already inoculated:
Amid international skepticism, Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday announced that his country has officially registered the worlds first COVID-19 vaccine saying it offers sustainable immunity and that one of his daughters has already been inoculated.
He added that one of his two daughters has received two shots of the vaccine and is feeling well.
She has taken part in the experiment, Putin said, adding that she had a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit on the day of the first shot, and then it dropped to just over 98.6 degrees the following day.
His declaration comes as scientists at home and abroad have warned that the rush to roll out the vaccine before Phase 3 trials which usually last for months and involve thousands of people -- could backfire.
The point is not to be first with a vaccine, US Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said Tuesday during a visit to Taiwan when asked about the Russian vaccine. The point is to have a vaccine that is safe and effective for the American people and the people of the world.
Russia, which has been pushing hard to quickly develop a vaccine, said earlier this month it hoped to launch mass production within weeks and turn out several million doses per month by 2021.

Some good news for a change...report suggests drop in violence in conflict-torn countries
A British charity says there's evidence to suggest the number of civilians harmed in conflicts around the world has fallen during the coronavirus pandemic
This good news story is hidden within a news article live update, in my opinion, the sooner we stop fighting each other, the sooner we can start fighting the Coronavirus
