The Easter of 2020.

May we wish each and everyone of us Grey Nomads

All the very best for the

Easter celebrations of 2020.

Albeit a very different Easter, as we will not be having family BBQ or family visits.

Easter eggs this year have been replaced by transferring money into our 9 Grand kids accounts.

This will save us having to go the the store to buy the eggs.

Very sad times indeed.

But as the say

""It is what it is.""

Maybe so, but we should be out west in Roma for the Easter Carnival and then Charleville through to Barcaldine Longreach and Winton. Possibly to Mt Isa. Then back along the Dinasaur's trail to Townsville.

 Cairns and the Atherton.

Ok,   I am dreaming.... but maybe next winter.

Happy Easter to all.

Stay safe

Jay&Dee

I have no doubt that we are all missing our families, particularly at times like Easter. I also hope yours is a safe, happy Easter. Even though our vans are not on the road at what I think is the best time of the year. We have a lot to be thankful for. Stay safe everyone.

We are not full time Greynomads. We do not stay home long.

It certainly is going to be a different Easter. I am sitting here seriously thinking when was the last time we stayed home for Easter. For us it would not be this side of 20years, maybe longer. I can remember lots of Easters we were away, there was that year back in seventies.

Since 2013 when we both retired, we have celebrated ANZAC Day at a smaller country town in NSW or South East Qld. This year we will be doing Dawn Service on our front lawn.

Yes everyone, enjoy what we have, stay home, stay safe and remember there is a lot of people in this world a lot worse off than us.
