I bicycle camp a lot, and one place that I go to locally a fair bit, I feel is haunted. If I just sit around the old fireplace at night, watching the bush TV, listening to the night noises, with my dog, after dinner, both the dog and I hear moans and groans, and see some eerily looking ghostly enities just on the edge of the fire light. The dog is particularly alarmed at these things. But if I have the fire going and just fish, in the creek behind our tent area with the dog sitting up against my back, as he does in night protection mode, we don't see or hear a thing. I don't really get that. But we love that spot to camp at, and as it is only 24 km away from home, it is not a strenuous ride out there and back, so makes for a delightful break from home. I know this is not the norm, for I digress, but I would like to ask, "Has any of the you other Nomads out there had an of these eery encounters in your travels?".

No, you cant actually see a human shaped body, more like flowing bed sheet, but a few of them. You can see through them. I should check up on the history of the spot, but don't really want to had my fear to the place. I love going there, and don't want to stop. It is on Thunderbolts Way, in the New England, and right near an old stage coach route, that is still visable. What was at that spot back in the 1800's was a tavern, so I suspect someone died or was killed there.
