LONG BEFORE CV19

I was looking through some photo's from way back before all the doom and gloom of CV19 and came across this one from the good old days at GreenS Lake, North Central VIC.

It feels a bit strange when watching something on TV seeing scenes full of people. More so if we have been there, & now these locations will be empty.

What has surprised me, is how quickly my feelings to the situation has changed. A place full of people seems wrong.

Even in Manly which is a tourist area, I tended to avoid like the plague. Now there is a plague, it is a more pleasant place to be due to only a fraction of the number of people these days.

Hey Doug.

A few familiar faces there but my ugly mug is missing! I'm calling 2014 with cafe and monkey face biscuits.

Stretch.

Here's another one from same time. This might jolt a few memories.

Ooops! He needed a tow truck on this day, not a skier.

Well l dunno about anyone else but l'm heading out there as soon as the sun gets turned up to spring/summer.

Just hope the covid thingy doesn't result in campgrounds being shut down again.

Hey Doug, in your first photo. In the background is that a grey ute playing submarines?

Stretch.

Your eyes are good Andrew. Yes that ute went too far down the ramp and when he came out with boat on trailer and opened the car door water came gushing out. They opened all doors and the same thing. One wrecked car for sure. Being next to the ramp is full of entertainment for sure and I have seen a few cars end up the same way.

That was a very busy year for idiots at GreenS.
