Three points here for my thinking. A) I have seen another similar cctv clip from Cape town, this was way back last year. B) I "LOURVE" technology, but NOT the way it is used. C) I have email, Internet access, which I have paid for and pay to maintain BUT why should I now use that for them - the "Gummut" - to be penny pinching users of my private gear and set up in order for them to save moneys at my expense.
So my IT loving Public Service "Gummut" employed acquaintances get quite annoyed when I say to them that they should NOT be wanting everything to be done by digital means as mankind can and will corrupt it.
OK, I shall now go have my medication, a cuppa and a rest!

I slowly realise as I get older that I am definitely NOT the fastest rat in the race.
Also the older I get the more I realise I do not know.
Hope the "Kiddy crims" of Townsvile, Cairns don't get wind of this technology!
They do enough damage by breaking into houses in the wee hours, stealing what they can as well as the car keys.
Other than bilbo's security system, the other deterrent is to have a manual car - they cannot use the clutch!

Serves people right for having hi-tech cars. I have disabled the key activation on my car, and only use the key to get in thru the lock on the door, as had one expensive Limited release Commodore stolen, un der cameras, by using a similar device 2 years ago, but it was much smaller. Now don't use auto unlock on any cars today as they are all disabled. I don't know what I will do with newer cars that don't have key locks in the future.
