SOO - Again

It just wouldn't be right if I didn't acknowledge the great series win by the Maroons over the C o c k roaches in last night's National Rugby League.

What a turn out it was.  The 'worst team in 40 years' according to some southern commentators, just out enthused the team from the south who apparently believed their own publicity.  Just would have been nice to have done a threepeat.

The only question is 'Who would we pick for an Australian side'?  Perhaps just as well that there are no International matches this year. Even with big Mal as coach we might be in for a shock, maybe even against one of the South Sea Island teams (again).

As usual I watched in silence with the commentators on mute but the antics of the ref once again, in the dying minutes, had me going though.  Just as well I had all the doors & windows shut securely.

Looks like NSW will have to revert to bellyache to coach next year.

ps. Been a good year for us ..  Labor won the State election; Au won one ARU game; Trump got the flick it seems; looks like a Vaccine is getting close and Qld won the SOO  Plus my investments turned a good profit, given the circumstances & are on the way up.   ....  Oops, forgot to mention that we are still on the green side of the grass.   How good is that?

Hi Cupie...how on earth can you suggest that Labor winning the state election is a good thing? I would have thought that at your (our) age you'd know better.Because politics is banned on our forum,I will say no more.Cheers
