I recognise that we wrinkles keep wondering why police seem to be no more than 12 years old, but there are other more important anomalies to ponder
Why is it that for the last couple of years, supermarket apples and oranges seem to be getting smaller and smaller. It isn't because my mouth or eyes have changed size
I bought a mesh bag of premium eating oranges a while ago and they are all less than 60mm in diameter and Betty is having a hard time getting through them because she has lost her magnifying glass. Same problem with all the different types of apples - peel it and cut the core out and you barely have a mouth full left.
This afternoon we were enjoying a cuppa, I relayed your post to my wife and we got talking.
I had in my hand a half (1bite) of a Arnott Orange slice, I said I am sure these are smaller in size and the packet is longer.
We then got on to talking about going into factories in the sevenies like Nestle, Oak Dairy and the driver (me) loaded the product on a pallet in the back of the truck for transportation from Sydney to warehousies in Newcastle, the packing was not designed to stack on pallet, there was always a grap and a smsll pain to transport, where as we would go into 333's and the product packed squarely on the pallet, very easy to transport.
I don't think Spec Savers will work, its all a great illusion developed by educated university trained marketing people.
My glasses are perfect - just a few months old - the latest progressive focus photochromic unbreakable frames direct from the back streets of Los Algodones in Mexico
$250 ready in two hours. Same place you get dental implants for just over $1000.
Maybe that is my problem. Eyes are still calibrated to supersized everything USA (including Covid-19 infection rates)
