1st test Aus v Ind

India 2nd innings.......10 / 36

Aus  2nd innings........ 2 / 93

Any chance the Indian bookmakers made any money? India's lowest score ever.

Just saying.....smilesmilesmile

Cheers Bob

They probably got a pitch report. I think they cost about 5k from memory.

Hazlewood had 5 for 3 at one stage, should have taken him off.

Cricket sure is a game full of surprises.

No one could / would / have predicted India's 2nd Inning score.

But well done to the Aussie team.

 Is that 5 for 3 or 3 for 5?  I'm confused.

Cupie, we are in Oostralya, 5 wickets for 3 runs against him. Only Poms do it backwards. He finished at 5 wkts for 8 runs, hence he should have been off.

Put me in mind of another great spell of fast bowling, when Dennis Lillee destroyed the World 11 in Perth in the early 1970s at the start of his career.

I think he got 7 for 27, and the Rest of the World were dismissed for 57 (I think), and he got another before the lunch break. I will happily stand corrected on the exact figures, but I think they are around the mark. I know I was excited watching it on TV, as a teenager.

A once in a generation type collapse both times.

Very close with your figures,Ian! Lillee got 8 for 29,and the World 11 was dismissed for 59....'Twas 71/72 season, and the second test,in Perth.Cheers

We were playing a grade match in Beauty Point Tas. Kept stopping the game to get an update on radio.
