The consensus amongst the smarter commentators seems to be that the word to use is deplatforming. Follows the logic that you can still dribble alternative facts and other conspiracy theories if you can find a platform that will carry your nonsense.

In old speak, it reminds me of the days at the Forum in Brissy when zealots of any shape and form in Religion or political view would literally carry a wooden box to the venue, stand on the box to hold forth and compete for an audience. I used to laugh as the Spooks keeping an eye on the extremists stood out so obviously. Nobodys speech was ever Censored, just the fools and dunces were ignored.
