"Still a British colony after 200 years" is enough proof.

And the better for it it is too.

Yep, who needs a fake news president, or a Paris accord one either

Gundog, with respect to the actions taken in Australia to minimise the effect of Covid, just compare the effects in many overseas countries that have not been so rigorous in response. I think that you should then agree that the Australian Governments' actions are preferable. I certainly believe that the actions taken have been correct, despite a few slip-ups. Not to mention the occasional selfish and irresponsible people who have tried to circumvent the lockdowns and recommendations.

Well, its all tickety boo in the happy little land of Oz.

Nobody disagreeing with Govt policy today.

Interesting the hullabaloo with facebook timing as well. Govt. can now relax. They have cancelled all the dissenters so they can now let Facebook operate normally.

Interesting info and something I am a bit puzzled about.

The govt keeps saying the old and vulnerable have to get vaccinated first to protect them. Ummm but is this really the way to go. The oldies are less likely to go out in the community and infect people and according to the graph the ones under 50 were the ones being infected and spreading it around and infecting those less likely to be able to fight it off.

On that basis, wouldn't it be more effective to vaccinate under 50's. If the under 50's don't get the virus after vaccination then they can't pass it to the oldies. Are they starting at the wrong end of the population?

There is the thought that by vaccinating the oldies first fewer vaccinations would be required.
