I have a friend (early sixties) who has worked in the child protection area for 20 years, she is an intelligent, balanced, sensible woman. The matters she has related to me suggest this gist of this clip is accurate.

I like to be nice to ALL ! I didnt open file ! But what get emotional about is . These things make ME feel responsible, being male . I hate any abuse ! Why do some of these tend to make us feel responsible! Yes clamp down big time on them . Dont cover it up like some religions etc in the past !!
These things make ME feel responsible, being male.
It is a sad reflection upon Western society that it now presupposes many/most/all? men are abusers of some kind.
A few days ago something came into my mind which I had long forgotten but it's a most relevant point to recall in the current climate, it is:
When I was a child, 60 years-ish past it was commonplace for a mother out in public with her young son to take him into the ladies toilet when he needed the loo; at some point the boy's age became inappropriate for this to continue but he still was of an age where he may need assistance in this task so the mother would select a man of "decent appearance" who was going into the men's loo and ask him to accompany her son.
Can you imagine this happening today?
