I asked for Group/Band but if some prefer individual singers so be it - Although most individual soloists have backing singers or a regular band anyway.
My tastes include everything from Garth Brooks, Johny Cash, Shania Twain to Tammy Wynette for country.
Military Bands particularly when playing Hymns, Aust Navy Band is unbelievably good.
Operettas particularly G&S.
Pop music from '50s, '60s & '70s.
I believe most Rap music should be spelled with a "C".

Hands down. Bruce springstein. A few years back i went to melbourne with a friend. We hotelled it. We saw ellen in the park, markets, comedy festival and heaps of other things. When buying tickets to comedy festival i saw bruce springstein was playing. I was sooo excited I wanted to c him so much but my friend did not. i felt i could not go n c him and leave her on her own. I could hear the show from our room and i tell you for free, that is one of the biggest disappointments of my life, knowing i would never get that opportunity again. I am still disappointed but i look at it this way, if thats the worst thing that happened to me that day, i was doing alright. Friendship won the day. Life is good. Rocket

Pink Floyd is the best band in the world. Although their music has to be played reasonably loud on a good sound system or headphones. Otherwise you miss out on all the intricacies.
I saw them live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and their stage show is the best I've ever seen. It just got better and better as the night went on. A mirror ball with lasers on it then that opens up with a mirror ball inside and more lasers. The front of the stage opening up with more lights. Multicoloured lighted drum sticks for the beginning of Time. Lights like traffic lights and then those lights start moving up and down like the matching hammers in The Wall. And airplane crashing into the front of the stage. Etcetera. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I hope that if old timer's disease takes me that that concert is the last thing that I remember.
In no particular order
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Creedance Clearwater Revival
The Doobie Brothers
Fleetwood Mac
Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers
Steely Dan
The Eagles
The B52's
And yes Queen
But the list could go on.
Buzz that tour was The Division Bell Tour and a DVD was recorded at the Earls Court concert it is called Pulse. Great band even though Roger Waters had left the group.

"Pulse" or "Delicate Sound of Thunder"? I get confused. Anyway, they are the greatest. And yes, I was sorry to see Roger Waters leave the group and Rick Wright die of cancer.

Got it wrong, if it was Sydney then it was probably 27th Jan 1988? A Momentary Lapse of Reason.
It was to promote "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" but I thought that the concert itself was called "Delicate Sound of Thunder"? It doesn't really matter it was fantastic. Better concert that Bowie, Elton John, Joan Armatrading, U2, Midnight Oil, Spit Ends, Sherbert, JJ Zep and the Falcons, Captain Matchbox, Hoodoo Gurus, Eurythmics, Hunter and Collectors, INXS, Santana, Fleetwood Mac, Renee Geyer, Roy Buchanan (although he's the best guitarist I've seen), Skyhooks, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Deep Purple and the other bands I've seen live. Don't get me wrong. The other bands /performers were really good but Pink Floyd were, and still are, the best.
