Might have trouble flat towing an automatic. Most auto cannot be towed very far and only at a low speed otherwise damage to the transmission will result.
If you want to tow an auto you will need a car trailer.
Most automatic Suzuki Vitaras can be flat towed as long as they have a transfer case that can be put into neutral. Weve flat towed a 2010 for 3 years with no issues.
