My Printing Ink went back to where it started from.   They claimed I didn't live here any more.   I was still in bed, and got up when I heard the car door close, just before who-ever it was left.  They had neither called out, nor knocked on the door before leaving.   Who-ever it was was within 20ft.of me when the vehicle door was shut.

Luckily, the senders rang me, and my carer collected it and brought it with her a day later.

Definitely not good enough.

Many Star Track drivers are contractors and subject to strict compliance conditions. They cover specific delivery areas. If they give lousy delivery service they will lose their contracts after a few warnings. So you need to lodge an official complaint, get a unique reference number and follow-up. It does happen and it's the only way your service will change.

They might be owned by australia post. But theres a big diference in delivery service. Personal experience i would not get anything sent by Star track.

DeBe. In my local area, suburban Gold Coast, it's the same van, same driver, two contracts. Anything of substantial bulk or weight and shipped AusPost is delivered in a van marked with both Star Track and Auspost signage. It's not unusual to see this van at the PO based in the local shopping centre waiting to collect parcels. I used to receive parcels at least weekly for donkey's years and the driver & I know each other on sight He used to be an AusPost employee and was given the "opportunity" become a contractor. He tells me his van is owned by Star Track. The advice I gave earlier is straight from him. I'm sure there are places where they're entirely separate.

No matter where I have ordered a item for delivery from I receive a text from from Auspost to ask if I will be home, I received two such texts yesterday and received two parcels at different times, one from Auspost the other from StarTrack.
Craig as you are peeved about actually receiving a parcel maybe you should do it the old fashioned way and visit a store, but of course that would be more expensive.
Maybe you could let them know your preferred delivery location when you order your item or indeed put your mobile No. on said order so someone can contact you, especially when you go out when a delivery is due and nobody knows where the hell you are?
Your location looks rural so maybe build a delivery box and attach it to the wall or better still at the front gate attached to a sturdy post with an unlatched padlock hanging on the inside so that your theiving neighbours can't steal the padlock.
Oh yeah and Craig Don't leave the key in the padlock will you.

I just now received an iPad cover by parcel post (sorry not Star Track - Aus Post).  I was delighted with the service.  A series of eMails advising of progress.  Particularly impressed with the one that said 'its been delivered'.  Looked out the window as the postie drove down the street on his funny little trike.

There it was in the letter box and on the day promised.

I must say that I have received lots in the past where they have propped the parcel up against the front door, took a photo, pressed the door bell & scampered.  Of course an sms or whatever follows.

I'm happy with that.

We are on a corner block, in a fairly safe area, but still the next door neighbour lost $10k in tools from his ute one night. If the driver had delivered via our actual address street, he would have found an out of view door, or two to leave same, even though I ticked the do not leave box. Or he could have walked around our open verandah and done the same thing.

I guess I cannot understand why he left it in plain view of the world.

Oh to be so lucky!

Aramex constantly days late, one from America was supposed to be delivered yesterday, never arrived!

Got this from Amazon.

Were very sorry your delivery is late.

Most late packages arrive in a day.

If you have not received your package by 19 July,

you can come back here the next day for a refund.

Aramex website!

Received into Depot
Your parcel has been received at 'Sydney' depot.

The item has been gathering dust in their depot for over 3 days and they claim they are working as normal!

I wonder what they term as normal?

I have had a delivery from Kentucky USA in 5 days and across Sydney with Aramex takes 2 weeks.

If it wasn't for COVID I would drive across town and get the item myself!
