Many Sat Nav GPS units can be configured as a viewing monitor.

If this is the case with your unit you may want to connect your reversing camera through that screen and eliminate having the monitor for the camera.

That might save you a bit of clutter on the dash.

When I put my car in for service at a pedantic Toyota dealer they removed my GPS before they would drive it.

As such I dont use that dealer any more.

I recently worked with a man that was fined for not having proper control!

Drinking a cup of coffee and driving with 1 hand!

I agree with the technical term!

I have added a lot of things to my car but have made them all to be as invisible as possible. Hard wired TPMS. Neodymium magnet on dashboard to remove GPS as it's mostly not needed, also so there is no rubbish on the windscreen. Dashcams are above sun visor position. It's not difficult to have everything under control.

Looks okay to me, except for the loose wires hanging around...that'd drive me nuts personally.

My Chevy might give you a run for your money though (not that I want to get into a p!ssing contest)....

Top photo shows remote for the caravan electric leg, 4x switches on dash to turn various screens etc ON/OFF,  phone on charging cradle (used for  street navigation), main stereo system, UHF, REDARC tow Pro.

Second photo shows TPMS and dashcam...mounted using the factory's windscreen rear view mirror mount. No internal rear view mirror as canopy made it useless.

Third photo shows the control for the extra 113 litre fuel tank...where I can pump that diesel across to the main 215 litre tank. Also, a series of switches I added.

Fourth pic shows Samsung tablet (for Exploroz off-road mapping), rear/side view camera (camera is mounted under tail light, looking sideways at hitch. Main camera is above the hitch and is viewed on the stereo system. Having 2 cameras gives me a 3D view of the hitching process and together with the remote electric leg operation, makes single-handed hook-ups a breeze. The screen can also be switched over to a front-mount camera on the bullbar), then there's the EDGE CTS3 which gives me oodles of data from the OBD2 port and in the corner is the digital Airbag Man pressure gauge. Not shown in any of the pics is the pair of paddle swithes (similar to the one shown in the last pic), for adjusting the suspension airbags. These are located under the steering column. On top of the dash, below the steering wheel in the pic, is the Ultimate 9 gadget that enables me to vary the throttle response.

In the fifth and final pic, we see the various switches I've added, the UHF cord and the gauge + paddle switch to enable me to alter the pressure in the Airsafe Hitch airbag at any time.

Too much stuff? Possibly. Bear in mind that I never have all these gadgets ON at the same time. They are each turned on when/if needed.

I think for a Ham your interior is rather conservative and don't let these know-it-all-better discourage you. 
We are legally sanctioned to use our microphones while we drive, so let's do it.

Here is my mobile shack:

 The ham radios (Hf and Uhf/Vhf) are in the roof console. The THP 100W amp for the Uhf is under the rear seat. Antenna tuner for the yagi and long wire when stationary. Mobile tuner for the HI-Q Antenna 160-EX. Antenna selector Above the driver seat behind the head rest (not in picture). Battery monitor for the 340Ah Lithium house battery and a capacitive antenna matcher for the Tarheel 100hp mounted outside. The autotuner for the Tarheel is also under the rear seat. There is also a battery monitor for the starter batteries. 

Side view monitor displays the left side (blind spot) and can also display the trailer caravan on the left when reversing. Same applies to the right. 3 Gauges in the front are intake temp (past intercooler), EGT and Oil temp. Also visible is the rear view monitor which is a permanent rear view of the truck or the trailer when hitched. 

The other important bits are the pressure gauges and warning light for my airbrake system, the air bags and pressure for the exhaust brake and air horn.

Upper dash has mainly gauges, including a Banks iDash, and the tire monitor for my 12 tires. Uhf CB with speaker at the right, side view monitor just out of the picture.

Lower dash is just the touch screen for my Windows 10 PC running Oziexplorer and co-pilot,  my music library and various other stuff including ham apps 

Below and around the steering wheel are a bunch of switches.

And a bit more stuff behind the rear seats including solar charger (2x 120W flexible panels on the roof), 3000W inverter, the ham radio units , the pc, fibre optic receiver for the trailer cameras and the video auto switches for the cameras, which are not yet all connected.

And yes, it is all documented with connection diagrams for all connectors.

 Hi Bob, 

you make the assumption that the images show the actual viewing angle to the front and side. That is not so. The images where taken with a focus on installed gadgets not the unobstructed window space. They have an optical distortion which makes the window appear smaller than it actually is. Compared to the original interior there is not much reduction in viewing area since the pillars are wide anyway and the rear view mirror is large. Very little has been taken away from that. This was one of main objectives with this installation, little imposition, maximum functionality and ease of use, which contributes to driving safety, even when on the microphone.

Jesus, I thought  their were some terrible, members on here in the other parts of this forum, but this section their are some terrible human beings, the way they talk to someone. This show and tell, is what this section is all about, shooting someone down, just because he showed his cab of his truck, and it is a truck, and you scum denigrate the three posters here, and try to drag them down to your level. I liked seeing the pics and appreciate, it from another truckies view point. Their are reasons for these accessories, and if you don't understand it, or don't like it, don't comment, I am almost fed up with the Grey Nomads website and forum, and can see it going the way facebook is, becoming irrelevant!.

 Its the way the world is these days. If they dont like or agree with you they will shout or tear you down & tell you how you should be. Too much of this people telling you what to do or people are offended by anything society we have today.

Think they need to read the Social Media laws surrounding comments. Maybe the mods can draw attention to it since these laws will not be going away.

And just to get back on topic, while these setups might not be my cup of tea, each to their own.

 That may possibly be correct, however my brother in-law who had a mild stroke around 30 years ago and has reduced capacity on one side of his body, has one fitted to his automobiles. It is a legal requirement for him to have one fitted to anything he drives.
