A serious incident occurred 07/09/2021, where a CFA Tanker from the Barongarook West Fire Brigade was involved in a roll over while responding to a call-out for a house fire at Yeodene, near Colac.
Two CFA members have been seriously injured in this incident.
The members are currently in hospital, and the CFA are providing support to their families and colleagues.
The CFA will be conducting an investigation into the incident.
Thoughts and best wishes go out to those injured, as well as their families, friends, the Brigade and to all the Emergency Services who responded to the scene.
From my experience, some people get a bit carried away with the urgency of the situation....they where probably speeding. Extra couple of minutes not worth risking your life.
