Melbourne Cup, keep your eye on the Red and The Blue

A great line from the Mighty Demons song and just as the horses were going into the stalls, No 4 popped up. Self I said, there is the winner, wearing red and blue colours, sure enough, cantered in. Verry  Elleegentmelb cup.jpg

Last one I backed was Rain Lover, lined up for bookie and got great odds, then " Book makers, Rule your book " Big Philou has been scratched ". Still won enough to have a great afternoon though.

It's time to give the Red and Blues a rest, for this year anyway, Craig.

Vossy and the Baggers turn next year.

Drawn game against the Bombers 2006, "like dancing with ya sister" Denis Pagan said.

Well almost Bob, a mate reminded me that a former Demon was James McDonald, also the winning jockey name and that apparently the mighty mare started from barrier 18, which had never produced a winner previously.

I did declare that JOSH had finished as of 31st October, so now your turn to put up a half grown forward pocket picture. Carn Eddie !!

I was very happy tho hear that that annoying sport bet mob lost 5 million dollars by being a smart ar#e by paying out on the winner of the cup before the cup was run on the info that it was a cert to win by the odds. The sooner these low life sports bet mobs go broke the better, the annoying adds on tv make it the reason we record everything now and will not purchase any products that are advertised whenever these ads come on, fast forward is the way to go now.

Think of the people who cant stop betting on every fly that crawl up the wall and are not feeding and educating their kids.

The more we don't waste on betting the more we can spend away in our great little van and meet up with other vanners.

Safe travels again.
