china, china, china, what a bunch of liars and thieves they are, early in the pandemic, which they started and spread around the world, they had their china based companies in Sydney force their staff to go shopping and buy up all the toilet paper and sanitiser, masks etc, to send by the container load back to china, even thought they manufacturer their own.

This is so the virus could cause more damage to our financial security. Then they started to damage our export markets. They also told lies about their control of the virus.

Just recently they said the had 3 cases in a city of 13 plus million people so the locked down the whole place, they probably had close to millions sick but they lie so much to make themselves look good.

This is only the start of their financial war to take over the world. Their record on human rights and victimisation is well documented, as well as holding all their population to ransom if they don't tow the line and do as they are told is causing problems in their own country.

Telling Australia to keep their nose out of their business has just reared it's head about the arrest and illegal imprisonment of a reporter who tells it like it is. It's about time Scomo tells them where to go, he the most gutless a prime minister we have had since Paul Cheating.

Tell hillsong to pull their heads in and stop risking the lives of all the hard working Australians who are doing the right thing, this mob and all the antivaxes can go and live in china and see how long they last.

Anyone in China who speaks out of turn or speaks against any communist socialist regime that they loosely refer to as a government, seem to just disappear.

At the time of the outbreak they, the regime, supposedly built a hospital in Wuhan. Reports said it took a couple of weeks to build. It was only a short while later that the regime reported to the world that they had controlled the virus.

Some may wonder was it a hospital or a gas chamber that they built.

Many of the Tv reports and documentaries on China report quite openly that all comments from Chinas people are suppressed, one way or the other.

They just do it behind closed doors now, not like they did in Tienamen Square some years ago.

To trust China in any of its dealings is to cause major suffering for all our generations to come, unless someone *pushes the button*

It will be a hard, if not impossible road back for the world if we are not to have to rely on China.

Our leaders have sold us out over many years.

The way that I see it is in this country there is no one in charge that can see the big picture and if anyone does point out any anomaly then they are suppressed by the power brokers who have a hidden agenda with non disclosure of a simple fact.
All other excuses offered are in the most cases just that, excuses.

+1. That is what you get when you have the village idiot in charge.

We need a leader who is pro-active not re-active. One who is not afraid to standup to the power brokers and who is wiling

to put his cojones on the chopping block. Not a salesman/marketing guy.

 Certainly relevant ...

A powerful commentary that I find complete agreement with.

The emergence of 'Neo Liberalism' is at the core of the issue.

Where are the Great long thinking Statesmen of today.  I feel that they can only come from the mid/centre left.

ps.  I tried not to be political in my comment

Where are the Great long thinking Statesmen of today.?

My thought are that our addiction as a society to social media has made it quite dangerous to state ones views, no matter how well those views were thought out and disclosed.
This is more relevant if a budding statesman is a politician. Unfortunately every vote counts.

To answer the question.

I think those Statesmen have finished their bottle of whiskey and have ridden off. To use a phrase by Dougwe.biggrin

edit: it should read,

*ridden off ahead* or something very similar biggrin

Or their party members. How many leaders have been stabbed in the back since Rudd was ousted? There is no longer loyalty within the political parties, just obvious selfishness and popularisim. no

I was talking to a friend of mine last night on the blower. He is in the mining industry in the administration area. I was telling him how it is virtually impossible to obtain RA tests and that they are a requirement to visit aged care facilities. He told me that their workers are tested virtually daily and that they have ample supplies. In fact, some of the miners have family in hospitals or aged facilities so the company is giving them a few to take home to use when visiting their family members in such care. When I asked how they managed to get them when no one else can he replied that their people saw this coming last year and ordered thousands, just like the other companies.

The death toll for covid in NSW from the 1st January 2022 to date is more than the NSW road toll for last year. When Beetroot Head was interviewed on the ABC yesterday and asked about RA testing his reply was " Well, no one is dying". This was followed by a quick apology when it was pointed out that in fact people are dying. This clown is deputy prime minister.
