I'd like $10 for every time that I've been walking along a road & spotted a mangled cassette tape that's been thrown out of a car window.

Although the reams of cassette tape decorating roadside shrubbery could look quite pretty in sunlight!

Last year I spent $30 on 2 rare cassette tapes. Before putting them into the player I whipped out some old tapes and did a trial run. Just in case. All proved to be working properly so converted them to CDs. Cassettes went back into the cupboard in storage.

Those were our main form of entertainment in the truck years ago.

Oh the pain of your favourite tape being eaten by the player.

Damned rough roads

Hours spent trying to rewind them with a hexagon bodied BIC Biro pen.

Even joining broken tapes with a small pice of cellotape which rarely worked more than one more play.
