You will find those are Tesla's corporate colours, so no surprise. As for power sources, all auto makers are installing roof top solar arrays as fast as possible. The Tesla "Gigafactory" roof top array in Nevada is now expected to produce 24M, down from the original 70MW. Still enough to power the plant but Elon probably couldn't sell off excess power.
Guys, forgive me if I'm behind the eight ball but I have a problem here.
Tesla can power his manufacturing plant off solar but where do the raw materials come from...like steel and fibre glass products to manufacture the product, glass etc.?
Apparently Tesla sources components from all around the world right now but Elon Musk (or the companies that Tesla own) plan to produce their special "Tesla glass" in the future. Musk has hus fingers in many pies so probably thinks he can control every little aspect given time. But essentially, the bits and bobs that EVs use are not much different from any vehicle and produced by specialist manufacturers. Manufacturing is increasingly relying on solar arrays to power factories for the simple reason energy costs are increasing in most parts of the world. It's the new normal.
