Twiggy's green hydrogen plant is going ahead in Gladstone

I just read this article about Andrew (Twiggy) Forrest staring to build the green hydrogen plant in Gladstone, Queensland:

Andrew Forrest begins work on green hydrogen hub in Gladstone, confirms $3b for renewables farm

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-02-28/andrew-forrest-begins-work-on-green-hydrogen-hub-in-gladstone/100865988

Some of his comments are very relevant to other topics on this forum such as, energy independence from foreign countries such as Russia, buying stages one and two of a renewable energy project and a port to ship the hydrogen.

I seem to remember Japan built a ship to transport hydrogen so it should be able to get it into Gladstone port.

It's also interesting that Twiggy's has all the government approvals. I'm surprised that the federal government didn't ban his project because it's 'green' and not run by gas.

Thats great news, Twiggy I think, is a good man trying to do whats good for all of us.
And, yes, I am sure he will profit from it as well, fair enough
Maybe some of the other Billionaires could do something similar

Australia has the very real potential to become a world leading exporter of green hydrogen.
The Saudi of the next portable energy revolution.
Cheers,
Peter

The government is green. The endless ads on TV say so. Even the TV can't display this green gamut extreme!

I just can't imagine Gina Rinehart doing something like this.

Both Twiggs and the big G are only in anything for the money.

To think otherwise is dreaming or at the very least, wishful thinking.

Carry on though, enjoy the warm and fuzzy feeling the thoughts of saving us and the planet these projects may bring to you.
