A new type of battery

There was a topic about a new type of battery but when I searched for the term 'battery' I couldn't find it, so I'm opening another topic.

 

There is research into using blue green algae to make a battery to run a computer. That would be very handy. Just scoop up some grotty old water, stick it in an old water bottle, add an anode and cathode and there you have a battery.

Could provide warning lights for all the dangerous overhead cables on farm prpoperties. " look up and live"
