This thread is not intended to be about the rights, and/or wrongs, of the 'Mabo' decision that was handed down by Australia' s High Court on 3 June 1992.
If ABC News and SBS News are to be believed, Australians (collectively) are today celebrating the decision.
For me, today is just another day and the High Court's decision back in 1992 is as significant as John Kerr's sacking of Gough Whitlam's government - nothing to celebrate, nothing to mourn, a significant event in its day, now part of Australia's history but nothing to get excited about in 2022.
