One could postulate that any one who particpates in The Green Shed Rush is probably not normal.! Why would 20% (or so it seems )of the population need to go to a big tin shed to buy C...... made goods or plants grown 300-1000 km away that are totally unsuited to our local climate.
Maybe they meant " Those who do not steal, abuse any other person in the long que, or indeed the valued staff that are msostly knowlegable and friendly".
Recent items I then bought from another hardware store:
Thats a bit pedantic expecting a chain hardware business to have everything, how many people a day would be looking for some of the items on your list.
The average Tradie, Handyman, Home Reno and Joe Blow can generally find what they need from the big green shed.
Can you buy all those things you want from Mitre 10 or Home Hardware ? What makes Bosch Blue so good ? How many people want drill bits in 0.1mm increments, bugger all except for specialists.
Hang on Bosch Blue is available from Bunning
Sidchrome or Kingchrome tools are good enough for me, because I loose them before I break em

South Australia Police has indicated it will use the facial recognition capability of new security cameras being installed in Adelaide, despite being asked not to by the Adelaide City Council.
The council is about to begin a federally-funded, $3 million upgrade of the city's ageing cameras, installing new, 360-degree units that will allow the use of facial and number-plate recognition software, matching faces to databases provided by the government or private companies.

And the government has a pretty good database of face photographs... your driving licence.

I know it's a bit pedantic. I got the items from a family run hardware store in Brookvale - Sydney.
If tapping a M4 drill 3.4mm, M5 drill 4.3mm, M6 drill 5.1mm, hardly rare sizes. Tapping you should use a taper first, then intermediate & finally a bottom tap if tapping a blind hole.
I have Metabo but have been transitioning to Bosch, it started with their brilliant 10.8v angle grinder. I have 10.8v & 18v but the 10.8v is really good, it is brilliant for most things. There are other brands which are good as well. I had a lot of Makita in the 1980s, still got a few tools. Bunnings don't sell Bosch 10.8v (12v as it is called now).

All my Toledo rulers are made in Japan, also say hardened. They must be pretty tough as I have used a few for things they are not supposed to be used for!
The 1m, 600mm, 300mm & 150mm have inches on the back. Some of the 300mm & 150mm have metric both sides. One 300 is really handy as it 0 in the centre & goes 150 each direction. A couple of the150mm rulers also read 75mm from 0 centre. Have also cut a few rulers to shorter lengths which is handy in some situations.

During my mechanic days on the workshop floor I found that an old stainless 12 inch rule made one of the best old gasket scrapers you could use.
It is flexible in your hand and this flex provided a lot of pressure to the surface you were cleaning. It could also be dressed on a grinding wheel to keep the edge on one end sharp and keep it to the task.
It is probably against some safety rule today or there is an aerosol spray that applies fairy dust to make the gasket disappear

Welcome to Biggs Country many may know it as Australia
It appears most people are not troubled by facial recognition cameras, this does not surprise me.
Bunning's answer (thanks Craig1) is unconvincing for many practical reasons.
The reality is that facial recognition is here, now, and it will only get better in time until it's close to perfect and, outside the bush (perhaps even there) ,everywhere you go you'll be recognised, put on a database and a full record of your movements recorded.
Is that what you want? As a society, is that acceptable to you? Nothing like this has happened since the dawn of time and I ask if you really think it's OK to accept such a massive intrusion upon our liberty now, for no good reason? We need to think into the future and consider what could be done with such a system.
I say outlaw public facial recognition technology and do it now.

I have a camera at our front door, the only time I look at it, is to delete the records or if I am getting an ebay delivery that day check where the delivery person has left the package, If not in a secure location, I may take steps to return home.
If this camera had facial recognition, in the unlikely event we were broken into, it may help the police in finding who was responsible.
and agree re (The reality is that facial recognition is here, now, and it will only get better in time until it's close to perfect) and public facial recognition technology and the wrong hands will give Governments people control together with Travel/Movement restrictions.
