I think to some degree it is the only solution, we have to learn to live with it.
We still are, and will continue to, wear our masks when in close contact places like supermarkets, thats our choice.
Likewise we have had the 4 jabs, plus the flu, no point in taking unnecessary risks!!
Yes some vaccinated have died, but it is the unvaccinated or partially vaccinate that make up the larger numbers statistically!
Many people around us, family and friends, have had it and recovered, thankfully, so far we have managed to avoid it, so far!!
cheers
Ian
I cannot argue with the pervious responses each to his own.
From this point on governments should just but out, remove all restrictions but continue to provide covid boosters for those who want them.
I have had 3 shot I will have no more unless Astra Z is made available, I have never had a flu shot and I'm not about to start now, My partner has had her 4th shot Friday.
For everything else we are back to pre covid normality.
Unfortunately politics has ignored the science. If the majority of epidemiologists were listened to we would all still be wearing masks and would be vaccinating everyone world wide.
We'll be wearing masks and social distancing in public until the pandemic is actually over and/or the epidemiologists say it's safe not to wear masks.

I feel masks can be a problem, as a rule of thumb if you touch your mask with you hand, dispose of it wash and sanitize you hands and wear a new mask.
Where in fact the popular trend was to wear the same mask all day, popular amoungst females is a fancy mask, we even see pollies wear logo masks.
Putting on a mask with unsanitized hands, is just a waste of time.
If 40 people were dying in road accidents every day we would at least have an inquiry as to why. Especially when it is occurring in protected nursing homes. Could we call them black spots? Its not working somewhere. Doesn't matter though they are old and were going to die anyway.
Thank you very much but whether the vaccine makes you less likely to die of COVID or not I am unwilling to take the risk.

Hmmm. Was it not you who was bleating about "too much politics and current affairs and no travelling going on. Lots of bored angry old men on here Doug"? Is the above post not about current affairs, or are you exempt? Also, I'm still puzzled that your profile shows your gender as 'F' as I seem to recall pointing out to you that one of your posts suggested otherwise. If you are female, I apologise, but your aggressive posting manner suggests otherwise. Cheers
I still wear a mask, when I go into a crowded place, such as a shop, etc
The reason for this, is that my own gut feeling tells me, that (due to my age), I am better off not catching Covid-19
I am up to date with the Covid jabs
I do have a friend who is anti jab, but he is still my friend
I am also guilty of avoiding people, while travelling, and the main reason for this is
As I usually do not use caravan parks, it would be inconvenient for me to catch covid, and isolate, while away from home base
