You could be right there as I too have noticed this, perhaps because to indicate your intentions can result in every effort being made by others to foil your plans. Another thing that is prevalent is an apparent inability to merge from an on ramp onto the freeway, with many of these clowns comng almost to a halt at the end of the onramp rather than accelerating to motorway speed to easily and safely merge. Cheers
A driveway from the road to the property boundary is access but it is public property, which we are required to maintain as per council requirements. A vehicle parked across a driveway is blocking access but it is also blocking public property.

Car was not parked on the footpath. It was merely parked across the driveway on the road effectively blocking
anyone, in this case me, from using it to enter or exit the property.
I reckon rear both vision mirrors and blinkers should be at cost options..at least if people have to buy them they might use them eh...many people appear to think they will wear out the indicators if they actually use them.
I've noticed a few drivers lately that are going STRAIGHT thru a roundabout but as they're going STRAIGHT thru they indicate LEFT then RIGHT as they avoid the traffic island.
I, a Queenslander, have always found NSW drivers (Sydney in particular) far more courteous than the Brisbane drivers. So much easier to drive through Sydney than here in Bris. I found that when I indicated that I wished to change lanes the Sydney drivers would adjust speed to let me in. In Brisbane if a small gap appears they seem to rush to fill it before the bloody caravan can.
It is worse where I live with a plague of Asian drivers seemingly ignoring all road rules & driving with absolutely no common sense. Then there are the tradies. Spare me. They are probably worse.
WRT parking across driveways.
I recently dropped into a Battery place to have a free load test done on my van batt. Their large battery delivery truck was parked in their driveway preventing me from pulling in to their customer car parks. I stopped across the driveway and walked a few meters to see if I could get around the truck & seeing that this was impossible I walked to the occupied car space in front of me to check out a space in front of it. It turned out to be another driveway so I got back in the car. During the whole episode that took perhaps 2 minutes & I was no more than 15m from my car.
Two days later I got a parking infringement complete with photo. Bastards! I was in the wrong so I just paid up the $137.
BTW the battery test came up with 50% capacity so a replacement is required.. 5YO Giant 135kWh AGM, always on trickle & not ever discharged/used for camping. About what I expected.

I had a couple of friends who drove BMWs. I asked them why they don't use their indicators. One answered, 'because we've got really good insurance,' Go figure?
