As you know M30 the person who mostly never sees the effect of their shot is the person standing behind the black powder muzzle loader. Used a friends lever action Marlin 45/70 with the original black powder loading, didn't know whether I'd hit the pig for a good five seconds :)

 I did the same thing and the bullet travels so slow. I heard the bullet hit the target well after the bang.
