South Australians would be familiar with the big black and yellow Drakes Supermarkets, Woolworth have sold their Supermarket in Proserpine to Drakes.
2 weeks ago the change over occurred, it would be an understatement to say that there has been massive changes to the store, starting with customer service, new product lines are stating to appear, today I was a happy little camper, Villiers pies and parsties are availability.
Drake's are right along the Qld coast, slowly moving north. Sounds like they're taking Peries head-on in another location now. I think Drake's has more locations and employees than any other IGA branded group, they certainly aren't the local alternative the IGA ads tout.
