We bought a Motorhome

Hey there. Took hubby to the Cleveland Caravan Camping,Boating Expo at Redland Bay (QLD) Showgrounds yesterday.
Just to have a look around you understand. Could have knocked me down with a feather when, I found myself signing on the dotted line.
In May next year we will be the proud parents of a Windsor Daintree.

I know there are bigger and better Motorhomes out there and, to be quite honest . Thats where I was looking,I was surprised I loved this one so much. Yes we will have to make adjustments on both our sides. But with time Im sure we will get the hang of it.

Will be sad to see our Van go but, we will make new memories

We had a similar experience at the Queanbeyan Camping and Caravan Expo about six years ago. We ended up with a Trakka Jabiru.  We have not regretted the purchase and have done quite a few trips in it.  Enjoy every moment.

Thank you, Ian.

I had a Panic attack when it came to signing on the dotted line.

Such a big commitment as well as money.

Thanks to an Inheritance from my parents this purchase was possible.

Very emotional time but, I know my parents would be happy for me

You won't be sorry Kaid , and you can think of your parents everyday when you're travelling in your M/H

Cheers,

The Blues man.

I agree with Blues Man completely I have a few things about here that have been inherited from friends or relations and even using something like and old saw or a drill will bring back pleasant memories of them. I'm sure your new Motor home will do the same for memories of your parents. Enjoy.

Don't be too concerned about money you think you've "spent". You can't take it with you, and your "investment" will undoubtedly provide you with many years of enjoyment. Travel while your health still allows you to do so. "Better to burn out than to fade away". "Live for today, and live in Clover, 'cos when you're dead you're dead all over". Enjoy. Cheers

Well done Kaid.

Enjoy your new home on wheels and enjoy your future travels.

The fun and enjoyment you will have will out weigh any thoughts of spending the money.

Just look at is as an investment in your enjoyment.

Take care and travel safely.

"Don't worry , be happy..."    remember that when you are finished travelling you will still have the Motorhome to sell, so you can still recoup most of your investment    ....plus you will have the  memories to retain.
