Pretty much exactly one year past I posted this review of a 10" Android table I'd just bought so I though a brief follow-up was in order.
The tablet has performed well, no problems no troubles of any kind. The battery is still, as best I can tell, providing the same capacity it did when new.
I have been using a Boost SIM (full Telstra) in it and find I use about 9GB a month so this 12 month 140GB SIM suits me well - $175 from Ebay:
What has surprised me is how much the tablet has become my main computer: four years ago when I became a nomad I purchased a super-duper Windows 10, Intel i5 notebook computer and it has served me well since, indeed it now triple boots into W10/Linux/Android but really doesn't get very much use any longer, the tablet has taken over and I use it for about 95% of my internet use and, with the aid of a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard, about 80% of my writing. I have a lot of mapping software and the tablet again works well with that about 80% of the time but just occasionally the 15" screen of the laptop is needed.
With the built-in Telstra SIM and 4G/VoLTE the tablet is just *so* convenient to both use and easily take anywhere that I now feel I'd be lost without it and if it broke I'd buy another tomorrow.

SWMBOs Ipad Air is about ready for replacement. It can't do app downloads from the Apple store anymore it seems.
Perhaps we might go that way.
Interesting that you can get discount Boost SIMS on Ebay. We each have Boost 100/130GB Sims at the regular $200 price. I'll check it out.
Perhaps at the same time we can get serious about ditching NBN and use some of our always unused mobile data. But SWMBO loves her so called 'landline'.
I use one of those tablets as a dedicated tablet to run a software program for a hobby that I am currently involved with.
I connect to the internet by Bluetooth to my wifi service which is an ample connection for what I do.
I can easily print result sheets as required and for the initial cost I find it very useful to be able to have a dedicated device rather than have this program on my IPad or computer.
Like Mike Harding I hardly even access my laptop computer these days as the two tablets do it all for me.
