2023 Season About to Start

Looks like we have to catch up again Graham

Well done to Craig too. Not only Melbourne but Storm in for a chance too mate. 2 out of 2 in there ain't too bad.

As for my Atlanta Braves over in the USofA, well, still winning with a loss here and there. They have been and still are sitting on top of the comp, both American and National. By 4 games in front of the closest. At least they will be there fighting in October. Storm are in the mix as well.

GO STORM!

GO BRAVES!

I think we may have seen the try of the year by Sualauvi Faalogo, with pappy in support, pappy looked like a V8 running on 5 1/2 cylinders and Suala was a V8 with a nitro boost.

Craig, your Dees had one job.......beat the Pies, and the Blues would have knocked them out next week.

Now we have to beat your mob, I'd say we will be 2 down, Harry and Jack Martin, while you might be the same with Brayshaw and Van Rooyen.

Good win Baggers, first final for a while.

What a waste of space St Kilda is...another disapointing year for their long suffering supporters...glad l ain't one of them.

150 years and one solitary premiership.

All talk and no action.

Have to agree about the Baggers Bob, been awhile but worth it. Just have to pray they carry  it all the way through

Don't worry, those pie boys are well known for the 'colliwobbles'

Meanwhile over in the USofA my Atlanta Braves are still perched on top of the comp by a few games. Only a few weeks left before the play-offs then World Series. I just hope the team hold on to hold the trophy high and proud in late in October.

I seem to remember you saying at some stage in your long passed youth,Chris, you were considered good at Australian Rules, and were offered a contract by some professional team, but for some reason passed it up.

Interesting comments, over every post about the game you make, from someone who obviously enjoyed playing the game at some stage.

A bitter sweet night the bitter Blues defeat the Dees by 2 points, the sweet Storm beats the Chooks by 5 points.

Storm has to play Panthers next Friday at Accor stadium, looks like Blues will travel to Brisbane to play the Lions.

In the words of a great Wrestling commentator from way back "WOOOOOW"! What an edge of seat game that was. A very last few seconds win for the Blues. Then I made a quick look at the Storm scores and they won by 5. "WOOOOW" again.

Just for a third "Wooooow" My Atlanta Braves over in the USofA won the regular comp by 6 games and now ready to go further to win the biggy.

"I'm excited"

Where oh where is our southern friend Mr Craig1? Has he gone into hiding. Very silent, even if he is travelling

Still chasing, hobbling after them, maygetout tomorrow. Credit to Blue Baggers for sure. Sad to hear about Ronald Dale, champion and a gentleman. Tackling that a hole a few years ago didn't help him.

Don't bother chasing them Craig, when you get a nice Nurse, ask for a bed bath, may soothe away your sorrow for the Dees straight sets exit.

Go Blues

Wow! Another great edge of the seat AFL final with a record crowd yet again. I'm not a follower of either team and even though I dislike Collingwood, I'm glad they won.

Now I can sit back with my pie with sauce and a nice craft beer and watch the 'Colliwobbles' win during the Grand Final

No, I'm not being nasty just stating the facts

Meanwhile in the USofA my Atlanta Braves are, as we speak, only 2 wins from reaching 100 wins. The only team this season. They are 3 games ahead of both, National and American Leagues. Just over a week before play offs

Edit...Ooops, nearly forgot, Sorry Craig but our Storm fell last night. Bugga!

Hi all, watched the GWS/Maggies game last night and, for the first time in my life I found myself cheering on the Pies. Can't stand the way some GWS players, (one in particular) strut around the oval.

The main reason I did that is because, as a Victorian resident, there is no way I will barrack for an interstate side.

Gotta feeI for the bIues fans who spent an absoIute fortune getting to the game...fIights, entry tickets, accommodation etc etc
One feIIow said something 7K aII up...
And the three fans who were shown on teIIy driving up...as many others wouId have done...

AII for just one good quarter of footy.

Bet it's a Iong quiet drive or fIight home.

Very true SC. All good close games with great crowds too.

My Atlanta Braves over there in the USofA won their 100th game last night their time, lunch time today here. First team to do that in MLB this year. Great effort by the boys in white. Games were postponed due to heavy rain on Saturday so took and extra day to get it.

Drinks tonight to celebrate.

Play offs just around the corner.

Hick!
