I quite like them too. Also the Woolies brand Choccy Caramels and the Choccy Mints both at $2.25. Quite nice biscuits at a rather cheaper price. Cheers.
Thanks Mein, now my mouth is watering and I have to get some tomorrow.
They have been around for ages and yes, they are a very tasty treat. Go down well with an Earl Grey tea nicely.
In agreement, if you swap the Earl Grey for Chai with full cream milk & honey. Chai is the only tea that I drink with milk & that's the only way to drink Chai.
Perhaps I'll have sone Darrell Lea Rocky road to follow.
Have you tried Halva? one of my favorite sweet treats, wonderful stuff, usually available from the supermarket deli counter.
"Halva is a snack that can be eaten at any time solely or with bread, tea, coffee, wine. The taste is sweet and comes in many different textures and flavors. It depends on the additional ingredients like peanuts, almonds, pistachios, chocolate and others. Many people say that the taste is in the same category with nut butters or peanut butter.
It is one of those dishes served from the Balkans to India and claimed as their own by virtually every culture and country in between.
There are many versions. Basic halva, as found in the Balkans and Turkey, is a simple dessert. The most common version is made by cooking semolina."
