Have you tried . . . ?

Have you tried Woolworths Rocky Road Mallows?

Currently, my favourist food in the whole wide world!

A biscuit base with a layer of raspberry jam, topped with pink and white marshmallows and smothered with chocolate.

Ten times better than Wagon Wheels (and, obviously, if you don't like Wagon Wheels, you won't like these).

$3.00 for a packet of 8.

Thanks Mein, now my mouth is watering and I have to get some tomorrow.

They have been around for ages and yes, they are a very tasty treat. Go down well with an Earl Grey tea nicely.

I quite like them too. Also the Woolies brand Choccy Caramels and the Choccy Mints both at $2.25. Quite nice biscuits at a rather cheaper price. Cheers.

In agreement, if you swap the Earl Grey for Chai with full cream milk & honey.   Chai is the only tea that I drink with milk & that's the only way to drink Chai.

Perhaps I'll have sone Darrell Lea Rocky road to follow.

I'm a bit partial to a Chai Latte Graham and I tell you that for free. I have also been known to partake in some Darrel Lea Rocky Road too.

Could always have the Woolies one for morning tea and the DL one for afternoon tea.

Mmmm, sounds a plan.

Have you tried Halva? one of my favorite sweet treats, wonderful stuff, usually available from the supermarket deli counter.

"Halva is a snack that can be eaten at any time solely or with bread, tea, coffee, wine. The taste is sweet and comes in many different textures and flavors. It depends on the additional ingredients like peanuts, almonds, pistachios, chocolate and others. Many people say that the taste is in the same category with nut butters or peanut butter.

It is one of those dishes served from the Balkans to India and claimed as their own by virtually every culture and country in between.

There are many versions. Basic halva, as found in the Balkans and Turkey, is a simple dessert. The most common version is made by cooking semolina."

Love Halva. Keeps well when travelling too.

I think the middle east stuff is made from Sesame Seeds, and a similar Asian sweet called Halwa which is based on semolina.

I don't think I've tried the latter.

Another moreish snack from Woolworths is their Peanut Cookies @$2.20 for 175gm.

I could have a pack in the pantry for a week but, immediately I open it, I can't stop until I've eaten every last cookie.

Just watch the old heart Craig. Too much jam and cream could over excite you and the old ticker might kick up a gear or two
