I became confused when I heard the word "Service" used with these agencies:
Australian Tax Office 'Service'
Australia Post 'Service'
Telephone Companies 'Service'
Cable TV 'Service'
Power Company'Service'
Federal,State, &Council, Public 'Service'
Customer 'Service'
Centrelink 'Service'
This is not what I thought 'Service' meant.
But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' a few cows.
BAM !!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us.
We are getting serviced!!!!!

Reminds me of a story from years ago.
Little Johnny and his Dad lived on an outback farm, and one day Little Johnny was 2 hours late for school so was asked by the teacher to explain. Well Miss, our house cow came into season so I had to take her over to be serviced by the neighbours bull". "Couldnt your father have done that?" asked the teacher. "No way Miss" said Johnny. "Its gotta be the bull".
