I purchased a retractable hose unit (similar to a garden type) for a few reasons. I didnt want water dripping inside a compartment, I wanted to use it also to fill a bladder in the rear of my tow vehicle and time saving as other people could be waiting.
Anyway purchased the unit pictured that is made to lie flat or vertical. Mounted under the rear of the van it is extracted when needed. The other end of it (the end you would link to your garden tap) runs along the C chassis to a "Y" connector at the front toolbox. Two incorporated taps one goes to the 95L bladder in the rear of the SUV and the other to the water tank. So its just a case of turning off/on the taps to the "Y" unit to achieve your filling. Then retract. So this means only one hose needed and thats this retractable one.
A note of caution to anyone blowing out plumbing with compressed air. Most plumbing internal and external utilises connectors similar to John Guest Push on fittings; these will be blown off with only a modicum of pressure applied internally.
If plumbing is inside walls - don't pressurise with air.

I've modified the plumbing. I use a water bladder in the tug with 12V pump. So, if that and the main van tank is empty rather than hook both up separately to fill, I now have plumbed it all with a "Y" fitting on the drawbar. I pull out the retractable hose to the tap. Then attend the drawbar and turn the small levers on the "Y" fitting to fill the bladder, once full turn them to fill the van tank. Much easier now to fill 205 litres of water that does us about 8 days or more.
