I agree, not overly funny especially for the car drives and especially for those that swerve radically to avoid hitting them, often causing other issues.
While Kangaroo Flat is an outer suburb of Bendigo, this whole area has high Kangaroo numbers as we have had successive good seasons so they breed continuously (mind, because good old white man put water sources everywhere and nice grass - peoples lawns, golf courses etc. it is not much different in bad seasons). Driving for the few hours around dawn and dusk are risky times.
In the area I am in (Heathcote), several insurance companies rate it the highest in Australia for animal strikes.
Most didn't find this funny when I posted it a few years ago.

Years ago doing Jury Duty. Only two of us got the very subtle jokes between the lawyers & judge. We could see that this saved them from going mad. 10/12th of the jury, it all went over their heads. Maybe that was a good thing!
