RE: Check your energy rates

My electric bill has been in credit for 3 years with Mark McGowan giving us $600, $400 and $400 cost of living credits. I have a good 4.8 Kw system which is 16 panels east/west which start working at 4.30 am here. Maybe you could bring that large butt over here and shine a bit more. Anyway Im happy with my system, no need to fix if it aint broke.

Good to see that someone had the experience or brains to put panels East and West.

Many say "Derr, North is best". It ain't.

Another big mistake is using the wrong sized inverter. It's a long story that I presently can't be bothered relating.

What size is your inverter?

Your 4.8kw system should be averaging around 23-25kwh/day, meaning that your home actually is using 17-19kwh/day, a figure closer to what I'd expect.  Cheers

P.S Donations from Govt are not real credits in that they haven't actually been earned by the Solar system.

I didnt say the solar was the reason for the credit, but I have not had a bill that I have had to pay. Enough about solar anyway as long as the beer is cold I dont get pedantic about how much it produces.

Wow Yobarr being the expert on everything is a difficult job but you have outdone yourself I'm going to recommend you for the next "Everything Everywhere All At Once" sequel.

Thanks Kebbin, but that's not necessary.

Some people know a little about many things, and others know a lot about a small number of  things.

It matters not which group any individual belongs to, as long as the information selflessly provided by that individual is factual and is intended to help others.

Never have I claimed to be an expert on anything, but there are a couple of areas, particularly weights and dynamics, where I do know what I'm talking about.
This sometimes upsets those who only think they know what they're talking about, but that's their problem, not mine. Cheers
