Had a similar experience at Marys Pool free camp in the Kimberley. Watched a fellow we dubbed Mister Solar move 4 big panels around on the ground and roof of his Cruiser all afternoon, then heard his generator fire up for 1/2 hour at tea time to cook his meal!
