I for one totally agree that we should ensure that our beef and sheep etc etc industry remains in Australian hands.

BUT!!! How do we do that?

Is it the responsibility of the Foreign Investment Review Board ( FIRB) to control the purchase of Australian land and what it produces.
Could you imagine CHINA allowing us to buy their big properties in their country?

I for one am against selling the countries' Farms and land holdings.

So how do we stop it???

Farms are one thing to focus on. I clearly recall when an Australian PM gave away exclusive responsibility for Telecommunications in Australia. Whinging about opportunities for Foreign owners to make money out of providing goods and services in Australia is no more than hot air in 2024.

We can't. Unfortunately. There are not enough Australians with the where withall to buy these properties. It's become a big dollar exercise.  Only way is to form a company and sell shares. Another example of inflation and high property prices.
